SEPA works to expand access to high-quality STEM, robotics, AI and sustainability education for students and teachers across Vietnam, with a strong focus on rural and mountainous communities, girls, students with disabilities and other underserved groups.
Programs designed for learners who need opportunities the most
Our projects combine teacher training, hands-on STEM activities, robotics education, community engagement and inclusive learning models. Each initiative is designed to help students learn by doing and to support teachers in bringing meaningful STEM experiences into their classrooms.
STEM for Students in Mountainous and Rural Areas
This initiative promotes STEM education in Vietnam’s Northern Mountains, Central Highlands and other rural regions, especially in provinces with limited educational resources and a high proportion of ethnic minority students.
- Teacher training in STEM and hands-on learning
- Low-cost and locally relevant STEM activities
- Support for rural and mountainous schools
- Learning opportunities for underserved students
Coding and Robotics for Children with Disabilities
This project uses coding, robotics and educational technology to support students with disabilities, one of the most marginalized groups in education. It aims to reduce learning gaps and create more inclusive pathways into STEM.
- Accessible coding and robotics activities
- Inclusive learning tools and teaching models
- Teacher support for special and inclusive education
- Confidence-building through hands-on technology
Beauties in STEM
Beauties in STEM promotes gender diversity in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by encouraging girls and young women to explore STEM activities, develop confidence and see themselves as future innovators.
- Supporting girls to participate in STEM activities
- Workshops on “Unleashing Girls’ Potential in STEM”
- Beauties in STEM photo and storytelling activities
- Positive role models for younger students
Why our work matters
Access to quality STEM education should not depend on where a student lives, their gender, disability status or family background. SEPA works with teachers, schools, local education leaders and partners to bring STEM learning closer to communities that are often left behind.
Through practical, inclusive and locally relevant programs, we help students build curiosity, problem-solving skills, creativity and confidence in science and technology.
From teacher capacity to student opportunity
SEPA’s work is built around a simple idea: when teachers are supported, students benefit. We focus on building local capacity, designing accessible learning activities and connecting schools with broader STEM communities.
Building a more inclusive STEM future for Vietnam
SEPA believes that STEM education is not only about technology or competitions. It is about giving every learner the opportunity to ask questions, investigate the world, design solutions and contribute to their community.
Our work supports schools and communities in transforming STEM from a distant concept into meaningful learning experiences connected to real life, local culture and sustainable development.
Partner with SEPA to expand access to quality STEM education
We welcome schools, teachers, local education leaders, universities, companies, donors and community partners to work with us in bringing high-quality STEM learning opportunities to every student.
