STUDENT STEM AMBASSADORS
The Student STEM Ambassador (SSA) program is dedicated to seeking, empowering, connecting, and inspiring students who have a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Vietnam.
Participants in the program, students aged 11 to 18, will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about STEM careers, scientific and technical research.
- Connect with STEM Ambassadors within the STEM expert network.
- Showcase their academic and leadership abilities.
Objectives
- Search for and develop students with talent and aptitude in the STEM field.
- Create opportunities for students with a shared passion for STEM fields to interact, learn, and develop themselves.
- Contribute to promoting STEM education and inspiring students.
Target Audience
60 Middle school and high school students
Selection Criteria
STEM knowledge and skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
Leadership ability and teamwork skills
Sense of responsibility, positivity, and eagerness to learn

Application review
Responsibilities of STEM Ambassadors
Execute at least 1 STEM project during the ambassadorship
Co-organize and lead at least one STEM education workshop
Engage in STEM communication activities
Timeline
December 1, 2023 – December 10, 2023: Registration period
December 15, 2023: Announcement of results
December 15, 2023 – January 1, 2023: Ambassador training (online)
January 1, 2023 – March 2023: Ambassador activities
April 2023: Activity summary and certificate awarding
